Concept
People interact with their surroundings. The environment responds, and they respond to the environment. When people come together, they can meet each other. Such an encounter is more than the sum of each part.
"Blumenveld" is an art installation composed of eighteen interactive flowers. It is an invitation to people to engage with their environment, and to rediscover their surroundings.
And out of that, as an ongoing project, it is an environment that stimulates encounters between those who are being drawn into the installation, to share the experience.
